Led the visual rebrand for the Liberty Village Business Improvement Area, a rapidly evolving district in Toronto known for its mix of creative, commercial, and residential growth.

As the neighbourhood expanded, the existing brand no longer reflected its diversity or momentum, creating a disconnect between the district and its audience of businesses, residents, and visitors.

The rebrand focused on developing a bold and flexible identity system to unify a wide range of stakeholders while capturing Liberty Village’s entrepreneurial energy and architectural contrast. Key elements included a custom wordmark, dynamic color palette, and versatile graphic system, designed to perform seamlessly across print, digital, and environmental applications.

Impact:

+ Stronger Sense of Place: A contemporary and recognizable identity that reflects the neighbourhood’s personality

+ Cohesive Brand Experience: Ensures consistency across communications while remaining adaptable for campaigns and events

+ Strategic Positioning: Highlights Liberty Village as a hub for innovation, growth, and community

The result is a modern, adaptable brand system that elevates Liberty Village’s presence, unifies stakeholders, and strengthens its reputation as a creative and entrepreneurial destination.
